The Leasing Agent/Consultant is the primary representative for the residential or commercial properties managed by the company. 1. Leasing and Sales Activities

Prospect Management: Respond promptly and professionally to all rental inquiries (phone, email, walk-ins, digital leads).

Property Tours: Conduct engaging and informative tours of properties (units and common areas), effectively highlighting amenities and community features to prospective tenants.

Closing: Utilize effective sales techniques to close leases and meet or exceed monthly leasing goals and occupancy targets.

Market Awareness: Stay informed about current rental rates, market trends, and competitors' offerings to position the property effectively.

2. Administrative and Compliance

Application Processing: Assist prospective tenants with the application process, including verifying information, running credit checks, and screening applicants according to company policy and Fair Housing laws.

Lease Preparation: Prepare, review, and execute lease agreements and associated addenda accurately and completely.

File Management: Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical files for all applications, leases, and resident correspondence.

Move-In Coordination: Coordinate unit preparation, inspections, and keys/access to ensure a smooth and positive resident move-in experience.

3. Tenant and Resident Relations

Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to potential and existing residents, addressing questions and concerns promptly and courteously.

Retention Support: Participate in resident retention efforts, such as organizing community events or distributing notices, under the direction of the Property Manager.

Reporting: Prepare weekly or monthly leasing reports detailing traffic, closings, occupancy rates, and renewal status.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework or a degree preferred.
